About T20 Franchise Manager

T20 Franchise Manager puts you in charge of a franchise in the Indian Premier League or the Big Bash League. You bid for players at the auction, build a squad that fits the rules and your budget, then captain it through a season, making the calls that decide a T20: batting order, bowling changes and when to attack.

The player pool is real: 819 IPL cricketers with their season-by-season records and prices, and 526 from the Big Bash, covering every IPL season from 2008 to 2026.

GAME MODES

IPL Dynasty. Start in any season from 2008 to 2026 and run one franchise for as long as you like: live auctions against nine AI clubs, retentions each year, a youth draft, and a league where every player ages and changes from season to season.
Franchise Manager. A multi-season career. Auction an 18-player squad against a salary purse, play the season, then face retention prices and transfer windows before the next one.
Classic Tournament. A single tournament. Draft the greatest XI in the league's history, or step into a real historical season and replace one of its teams.
Play a Season. Captain a real franchise season yourself, over by over, against an AI opponent.
Versus. Live one-against-one online: share a room link, snake-draft rival squads from the same pool, and captain against a friend ball by ball.

THE REAL CRICKET BEHIND IT

The IPL has held an auction before every season since 2008, from the first mega auction to the modern retention era, and the archive behind this game records 3,836 auction lots across 19 seasons, including franchises that no longer exist such as Deccan Chargers, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Pune Warriors, Rising Pune Supergiant and Gujarat Lions.

League rules are part of the game rather than decoration: squad size limits, overseas player caps in the playing XI, retention costs and the purse all shape which players are worth the money, just as they do for real team owners.

HOW TO PLAY

Pick a league and a mode, then a franchise.
At the auction, set a ceiling before the bidding starts. A squad needs openers, a finisher, a wicketkeeper, at least five bowling options and cover for injuries, and the purse has to stretch to all of them.
Choose your XI within the overseas limit and set the batting order and bowling plan.
Play the match, stepping in for the big calls, and manage fatigue and form across the season. In the careers, the end of each season brings retentions and a new auction.

CAPTAINCY POINTERS

Spend on scarcity. Genuine wicket-taking bowlers at the death are rarer than good top-order batters, and the auction prices usually reflect it.
Build around your overseas slots. With only four in an XI, each one has to be a player your domestic squad cannot replace.
A T20 innings has three phases. Powerplay hitters, middle-overs rotators and finishers are different jobs, and a batting order should cover all three.
Keep a bowler in hand for the last overs, and resist bowling out your best option early just because a wicket looks close.

Are these the real auction prices?: The squads, seasons and historical prices come from real IPL auctions. Your own auction is played live, so what a player costs in your league depends on how you and the AI clubs bid.
Can I play the Big Bash League?: Yes. Switch the league to BBL for Big Bash franchises, the Power Surge and the Big Bash's own squad rules.
Is it free, and do I need an account?: Everything is free and runs in the browser with nothing to install. You can play signed out, with progress saved on your device; signing in with Google syncs careers across devices and puts your results on the leaderboards.
Does it work on a phone?: Yes. The games are built to work on phones as well as desktops, and careers save as you play.
