You take over one of 32 national teams just after the 2026 World Cup. A cycle is two seasons of T20 international series, three a season and three matches each, against sides of a similar standing; every other nation plays its own series at the same time, so the rating table is built from real results. The hosts of the next World Cup and the best-rated of the rest, twelve in all, go straight in. The other twenty nations play a qualifier, four groups of five, and the top two in each group take the last eight places. The 2028 World Cup is in Australia and New Zealand, in the real format: four groups of five, a Super 8, semi-finals and the final. Then the next cycle begins, and keeps going.
You pick a fifteen-man squad from your nation's players, then choose the eleven, the batting order and the captain before each match. Every player has a card with an overall rating, potential, batting, bowling, fielding, captaincy, clutch, consistency and fitness. A player who also appears in our IPL Dynasty game carries the same card in both, and a short list of all-time legends carries a defined rating. Between seasons players grow towards their potential, decline with age, and retire, exactly as in IPL Dynasty, so a squad that wins the 2028 World Cup looks different by 2030.
Select your XI, win or lose the toss, then watch your match ball by ball with the same captain's panel as the IPL game, or simulate it. Every other match in the world is simulated from the same seed. Your career is stored in your browser.
