PATCH 4.9:Cricket Manager, Clearer From Day One
We played a new career from the first screen as a newcomer and fixed everything that was unclear: labelled ratings, a way out of a live match, the toss in managed matches, and plainer setup, board and staff screens.
- FIXEDCricket Manager: you can now leave a live match (Play or Manage) and return to match day, and the game warns you before a reload throws the match away.
- BETTERBowler lists show a labelled bowling rating, and a specialist bowler's bowling now matches his rating: Yuzvendra Chahal reads as a 91 spinner everywhere, not 91 on the team sheet and 80 in the bowler list. Batters who bowl a little still show their lower figure. This applies to every T20, ODI and Test bowler picker.
- BETTERCricket Manager, managing from the dressing room: you pick the opening bowler too, you can hand the rest of the bowling to the captain mid-match, the toss result is shown, every field and batting call has a marked default with its trade-off, and figures read the usual way (0/11, 1 over).

PATCH 4.8:Your XI Stays Picked
Your Cricket Manager XI no longer reverts to the selectors' side, press conferences answer the question you were asked, associate nations stop growing into giants in the T20 World Cup, and scorecards stop listing a batter who never walked out as not out.
- FIXEDCricket Manager: press-conference questions and answers now match in subject. Questions about team starts, the toss, the pitch, fielding, rest and tactics get answers about that topic instead of lines about one player or stock replies, and the same answers come round far less often from match to match.
- FIXEDCricket Manager: when one of your picks is injured, retired or out of the squad, only he is replaced, by the selectors' best spare in the same role. Before, one missing name threw out your whole XI and the selectors' side took the field, which showed most after a change of job. The XI screen also stops offering players who cannot play that day.
- FIXEDT20 World Cup: associate nations such as Germany, Uganda, Malaysia and the UAE no longer grow stronger every cycle until they rival the Test sides. Their young players and their development are now capped by where the nation started, so a long career keeps the gap between India and Germany roughly where it is today.

PATCH 4.7:Cricket Manager: Your Bowlers, Every Session
More control from the dressing room: pick your bowlers over by over, stop at every session of a Test, and choose from India's whole domestic game.
- NEWCricket Manager, managing from the dressing room: pick your bowler for every over of a T20I, as in IPL versus, with each bowler's figures and overs left. In ODIs you pick who bowls at each stop, and in Tests the pair, one from each end. Switch it off with Pick my bowlers.
- NEWCricket Manager Tests: the match now stops at lunch, tea and stumps so you can set the batting tone or the field and bowlers for the next session, when wickets tumble while you bowl, and at every big partnership, not only the first. Switch the session stops off if you want fewer.
- BETTERCricket Manager, playing every ball on a phone: the over break shows the bowler list itself, so you can pick the next bowler without opening the captain's sheet.

PATCH 4.6:Cricket Manager on Your Phone
Picking a squad on a phone was close to impossible: the squad list and the player pool shrank to nothing. Selection, match day and the new-career steps now work properly on a small screen.
- FIXEDCricket Manager on phones and tablets: your squad and the player pool are visible again and scroll with the page, instead of collapsing to an empty strip.
- BETTERCricket Manager on phones: tap any player to open his dossier as a sheet from the bottom, with an Add or Drop button for the squad you are picking. The pool shows 40 players at a time with a Show more button, and injuries sit next to the name.
- BETTERCricket Manager on phones: the Squads tab opens on the format you are being asked to pick, and the button at the bottom of the screen now confirms that squad instead of sitting greyed out.

PATCH 4.5:Cricket Manager: A Proper Front Door
New to Cricket Manager? The first screen now shows you everything the game does before you sign a contract, and the Challenges screen has been rebuilt to be easier to scan.

PATCH 4.4:T20 World Cup Career: Sim With Your XI
A player reported that the XI he picked was lost when he chose to simulate the match. You can now pick your XI and simulate in one step, and the side you pick stays your starting XI for the next match.
- NEWT20 World Cup career: a Sim Match With This XI button on the Select XI screen. Pick your side and batting order, then simulate the match with it instead of watching ball by ball.
- FIXEDT20 World Cup career: going back to the hub from the Select XI screen now keeps the XI you picked, so Sim Match on the hub plays your side, and your next match starts from it, instead of falling back to the previous XI.
PATCH 4.3:Daily Live Match: South Africa v Australia, 2nd Test
The 2nd Test at St George's Park, Gqeberha, which started today, is now in Daily Live Matches with both real playing XIs.

PATCH 4.2:Cricket Manager, Redesigned
Cricket Manager has a new look from the first screen to the press room: a command-deck office that fits on one screen, a character studio for your manager, and ready-made managers for every nation in their own shirt.
- NEWCricket Manager: a new office. Everything you need is on one screen: the next fixture, board confidence, rankings, form, fitness, objectives, inbox and fixtures, with every section a page of its own from the rail on the left. The game now follows the site's Dark/Light switch, with a night look and a day look.
- NEWCricket Manager: build your manager in a character studio. Pick male, female or other, then face shape with fine-tune sliders, skin, eyes, brows, expression, 24 hairstyles, beards, eyewear, hats (including a hijab), outfits and extras. Hover any option to try it on, lock what you like and randomise the rest, undo, and see yourself on a matchday card or in the press room.
- NEWCricket Manager: a ready-made manager for all 20 nations, styled for each country and wearing its shirt, and dressed for your background: the old pro in a baggy cap, the analyst in frames with a lanyard, the fitness coach in a headband. Take the job somewhere else and the shirt follows you.

PATCH 4.1:T20 Reviews, Ageing and Season Review
A player told us reviews were lost nine times in ten, that careers felt stuck and that nobody developed. Reviews are fairer, you can skip the hopeless ones, watched matches play like simulated ones, and ageing and development are now visible.
- NEWT20 matches in every mode (IPL, Dynasty, T20 World Cup career and Cricket Manager): a new tick, "Only ask when a review looks worth taking". With it on, a decision that looked clearly out stands without a prompt, and you are asked only when it looked not out or was a close call. It is on the batting panel and on the review prompt itself, and your choice is remembered.
- BETTERT20 reviews: the ball tracking is now a clue, not an answer. Before, a read under the middle was a certain win and over it a certain loss, so a "50-50" call was never really 50-50. Now there is a genuine close zone, where about one review in ten is overturned, and a clear zone where the umpire was plainly wrong. Reviews you choose carefully win about a quarter to a third of the time, and the computer captain's reviews land at about the same rate as before.
- NEWT20 World Cup career: a Season Review on the Squad tab, and a link to it from Team News. After each season it lists who in your squad rose and who fell, with their ages and ratings before and after, who retired and which prospects came through. Development always happened, but only a few lines of it were shown.

PATCH 4.0:Cricket Manager: Run a Nation in Test, ODI and T20I
A new game: become the national team manager of any of the twelve Full Members and run all three formats at once, with a board that sets objectives, judges you and can sack you.
- NEWCricket Manager: a fog of knowledge over potential. You see the range your scouts report, not the true figure, and it narrows as you come to know a player: a long-serving international is nearly exact, an unknown youngster wide open. A player's record, matches for you and a place in your squad all teach you something, and on any player card you can send a scout to follow him. How many you can follow at once depends on your chairman of selectors.
- NEWCricket Manager: the dressing room has a pecking order. The Media tab now shows who carries weight (the captain, the vice-captain and the most experienced), how the senior players, the core and the youngsters each feel, and the effect on cohesion each week. Leaving a leader out of the side is felt by the whole room.
- NEWCricket Manager: the press pack has a memory. Three reporters follow you through the career and each keeps what you tell him. Straight answers earn trust, deflecting and attacking players costs it, and an answer you gave weeks ago can come back as a question. Stand by your word and the press notices; U-turn and they say so. Trusting reporters run kind headlines, hostile ones do not.

PATCH 3.9:Fixes from your reports
A round of changes straight from Discord and the feedback box: scorecards, super overs, live Test squads and England and India data.
- FIXEDIPL Dynasty: the post-match scorecard tables are readable again, with separate R, B, 4s, 6s and SR columns, and both teams' innings are one tap apart.
- FIXEDIPL Dynasty: the Phase Comparison table no longer shows impossible wicket counts, every phase adds up to the innings, and each run rate now shows the overs it was scored in.
- FIXEDIPL franchise career and Big Bash: the post-match scorecard, including after you resume a season, is laid out properly again, with readable columns and a tab for each team's innings.

PATCH 3.8:Live Test Squads and Ratings Updated
The South Africa v Australia and Afghanistan v Bangladesh live Tests now carry the squads as announced, and a round of ratings was corrected.
- NEWSouth Africa v Australia: Marques Ackerman, Cameron Green (injured), Sam Harper and Josh Inglis (joins from the 2nd Test) are in the squads.
- NEWAfghanistan v Bangladesh: Rahmanullah Zadran is in the squad; Nayeem Hasan is a travelling reserve and Shoriful Islam takes his place in the XI.
- BETTERRatings revisited: Mehidy Hasan Miraz 81, Mominul Haque 86, Mushfiqur Rahim 87, Marco Jansen 87, Keshav Maharaj 82, Shoriful Islam 68, Cameron Green 84 and Josh Inglis 77 go up; Litton Das 85, Senuran Muthusamy 80 and Marnus Labuschagne 88 come down.

PATCH 3.7:New Launch Pages for ODI and Test, Wider Header Everywhere
The ODI and Test game-mode screens now match the T20 page, and the site header is wider and lines up on every page.

PATCH 3.6:Reviews Fixed: Overturned Decisions Keep Your Review
Reviews in IPL Dynasty, T20 World Cup, IPL solo and versus now follow the real rules, and the opposition captain reviews smarter.
- FIXEDA review that overturns the decision is no longer taken off you. Only a review where the umpire's decision stands is lost.
- FIXEDThe opposition captain now reviews the decisions that look wrong, instead of the ones that look right, so their reviews overturn at a realistic rate.
- FIXEDIn Test and ODI matches, the third umpire check could freeze on CHECKING and never apply your review if the page refreshed itself at the wrong moment. It now always completes.
PATCH 3.5:Match Scrolling Fixed, Coin Toss in Test and ODI
The page could stop scrolling once a match started and stay stuck until a refresh. That is fixed, and the coin toss now shows in more modes.
- FIXEDThe page no longer locks after a break, review or toss pop-up in a Test or ODI match, so you can always scroll to the scorecard and the finished match.
- FIXEDT20 World Cup squad, captain and match screens, and the IPL match result screen, now show the CricArcade header with a way back home.
- NEWThe Test and ODI toss now uses the spinning coin: call heads or tails, watch it land, then choose to bat or bowl.
PATCH 3.4:Daily Live Matches: Afghanistan v Bangladesh and South Africa v Australia
Two Tests that started today are now in Daily Live Matches, with the real squads and playing XIs.
- NEWAfghanistan v Bangladesh, the Only Test at Abu Dhabi (Oct 09-13), is playable with both real XIs.
- NEWSouth Africa v Australia, the 1st Test at Kingsmead, Durban (Oct 09-13), is playable with both real XIs. Kagiso Rabada is out injured, so he sits on the bench.
PATCH 3.3:T20 World Cup: South African Stars Rated Higher
South Africa's players were rated too low in the T20 World Cup. Six of them have moved up to where they belong.
- BETTERLungi Ngidi (83), Anrich Nortje (83) and Marco Jansen (83) are now among the best fast bowlers and all-rounders in the game.
- BETTERKeshav Maharaj (79), Dewald Brevis (80) and Corbin Bosch (78) are rated higher too.
PATCH 3.2:T20 World Cup: New Launch Page, Hub and Result Screen
The T20 World Cup career gets a clearer launch page, a hub that fits on one screen, a full match-end summary and a complete tournament bracket.

PATCH 3.1:T20 World Cup: Batters Score at Their Real Pace
Abhishek Sharma batted like a bowler in the T20 World Cup. Two things were wrong: every all-rounder who opened was treated as out of position, and a batter's pace came only from his rating, so the most explosive opener in the world scored no faster than Shubman Gill. Both are fixed.
- FIXEDA player who really opens (or bats at No. 3, or at No. 7) is no longer out of position there because of his role. Abhishek Sharma opening is now as good as he is, and so is Shubman Gill.
- BETTERBatters with ten or more T20Is now score closer to their real strike rate: Abhishek Sharma faster, Gill a little steadier, Suryakumar Yadav quicker.
- BETTERNew careers play this way from the start. A career already under way switches over at the start of its next cycle, so the matches you have already played stay exactly as they were.
PATCH 3.0:One Match Screen for Every Game
Every live match, in IPL Dynasty, the T20 World Cup, Cricket Manager, The Follow-On, the ODI modes and IPL solo play, now uses the same screen: the match on the left, your captain's panel on the right, and one scorecard everywhere. You asked for the Test game's side-by-side layout in T20 and IPL; this is it, for all of them.
- NEWA new IPL and T20 home page: Dynasty and World Cup up top, your franchise set up in one card, continue where you left off, other ways to play, and guides.
- NEWSide by side: the score, commentary, batters and bowler on the left, your captain's panel on the right, so you never scroll to change the field. On a phone the panel opens from a CAPTAIN button beside the play controls, and the score stays pinned at the top.
- NEWA broadcast-style scoreboard: your score, the two batters, the target or the projected total, and the over in progress ball by ball, all in one green panel.

PATCH 2.9:T20 World Cup: Fitness and Rotation, Vice-Captains, Squads That Change Between Series
Two of a team's series could run over each other, which locked the squad screen and sent you back and forth between opponents. That is fixed, and every side's players now tire and recover, so rotating a bowler is a real decision, for you and for the AI.
- FIXEDNew Zealand v India no longer overlaps New Zealand's next series (and no team is ever in two series at once), so you play one series to the end before the next starts. Careers already in progress have their unstarted series moved apart when you load them.
- FIXEDYou can always pick a new squad when a new series starts. The squad screen only locks in the middle of the series that squad was picked for.
- FIXEDThe vice-captain you pick on the captaincy screen is now kept, shown as VC on the squad page, and leads the side whenever the captain is rested. Resting your captain for a match no longer takes the captaincy away from him.

PATCH 2.8:IPL Dynasty: Realistic Scoring After 2026
Seasons beyond the real data used to fall back to unfitted engine settings, so from 2027 on matches averaged about 240 an innings with eight wickets a match.
- FIXEDIPL Dynasty seasons from 2027 onward now play on the 2026 season's fitted scoring, about 210 an innings with eleven or twelve wickets a match, in line with the real modern IPL.
PATCH 2.7:T20 World Cup: A Fixed Opening Schedule With Real Series
Your first two seasons (2026-28) used to be drawn at random every time you started a career. They are now the same for everyone, and the series already announced are in on their real dates.
- FIXEDStarting as India (or any nation) no longer gives a different first opponent each time. The 2026-28 series are the same for every new career. Later cycles are still drawn fresh. Careers already in progress keep the schedule they have.
- NEWAnnounced series are real: India v West Indies, New Zealand v India and India v Sri Lanka, plus Pakistan v Sri Lanka, Afghanistan v Zimbabwe, Australia v England and South Africa v Bangladesh, on their real dates. Every other series is generated. Each series is played as three matches.
PATCH 2.6:Chase 380: Tournament Stats and Every Scorecard
The IPL-style stats board is now in the Chase 380 tournament, and the matches between the other teams are played out with full scorecards instead of just a result.
- NEWA new Stats button on the tournament screen shows the leading run scorers and wicket takers across the whole tournament, with average, strike rate, economy and best figures.
- NEWThe My Team tab gives every player in your XI a batting line (innings, runs, high score, average, strike rate, 4s and 6s) and a bowling line (overs, maidens, runs, wickets, economy, average and best).
- NEWEvery match between the other teams now has a full scorecard: batters, dismissals, bowling figures, extras, fall of wickets and player of the match. Open them from the Other Matches tab.

PATCH 2.5:T20 World Cup: Winning the Semi-Final No Longer Knocks You Out
A player reported winning their semi-final and being told their team was out of the tournament.
- FIXEDAfter you won your semi-final, the hub said your nation was out while the other semi-final was still to play. You now stay in the tournament and go through to the final.
PATCH 2.3:T20 World Cup: Legends for Every Nation
Ticking the legends box in the T20 World Cup career used to unlock only a handful of stars. Every nation now has a bench of retired legends to pick from.
- FIXEDRetired legends were limited to eleven players across seven nations, so New Zealand, England, Pakistan and most others had none. Every nation now has at least five (Tanzania has four, all it has ever had retire).
- NEWNew Zealand's legends include Brendon McCullum, Martin Guptill, Kane Williamson and Trent Boult; the twelve Full Members get eight each.
PATCH 2.2:T20 World Cup Career: Qualify for 2028 and Win It
A new game: take over one of 32 national teams after the 2026 World Cup, play two seasons of T20I series, qualify for the 2028 World Cup, then keep going, with real squads and the same player cards as IPL Dynasty.
- NEWThe T20 World Cup career at /t20-world-cup: two seasons of bilateral T20I series build a rating table, the best twelve (hosts included) go straight to the World Cup, and twenty nations play a qualifier for the last eight places.
- NEWThe World Cup itself is the real format: four groups of five, a Super 8, semi-finals and the final, with net run rate and Super Overs. The 2028 hosts are Australia and New Zealand, and the cycle repeats from there.
- NEWPick your fifteen, then your XI and batting order before every match, name your captain, win or lose the toss, and watch ball by ball or simulate. These are the IPL Dynasty game's own screens.

Take over any IPL franchise in any year from 2008 to 2026 and run it for as long as you like: the real auctions, the real squads, players who age and improve, and a captain you appoint yourself.

- NEWName a captain and a vice-captain before every season. A captain steadies a run chase, sets the fields that matter at the death, gets more out of your young players, and counts for more in a knockout.

PATCH 1.4:Batting rebalanced: the elite bats reined in
Top-rated batters had become almost impossible to get out, hitting impossible strike rates and racking up 1,000-run seasons. The best batters are still the best, just no longer unstoppable.
- FIXEDThe strongest batters were surviving far too long and scoring at unreal strike rates, pushing team totals and individual seasons well past anything real. Their effective average and strike rate now top out at a sensible ceiling.
- BETTERSeason form and rating still decide who is stronger, so a batter's peak season still outguns his lean ones. Only the runaway top end was pulled back; ordinary players and down seasons are unchanged.
PATCH 1.3:Daily Live Test Matches & Real-World Fixtures
Play real-world Test matches as they happen in real life! Recreate active fixtures like Australia vs Bangladesh with official series squads, authentic venues, and direct deep links.

PATCH 1.2:Retention pricing fixed, and you can see who improved
Retention was priced so badly on the ₹150 Cr and ₹200 Cr purses that keeping anyone was a bad deal. That is fixed, and the retention table now shows what the season did to each player.
- FIXEDRetention prices scaled with your purse while auction prices did not, so on Medium every player cost 23% to 88% more to keep than to buy, and on Easy up to 150% more. Prices are now the same at every difficulty and a genuine star costs less to keep than to re-sign.
- NEWThe retention table shows each player's rating at the start of the season and now, so you can see who grew and who is starting to fade before deciding who to keep.
- BETTERThe table explains why keeping someone costs a small premium: the auction deals you a random franchise each round, so retention is the only way to choose a specific player.
PATCH 1.1:Careers, retention and the transfer window
Squad Mode used to end with the season and throw the squad away. It now runs season after season, so the players you sign are players you keep.
- NEWRetention: at the end of a season, keep up to 5 players for the next one. Slot prices come off next season's purse, so a strong spine costs you at the auction.
- NEWCareers: your club carries its squad, honours and record across seasons. Every player has a club record: appearances, runs, wickets, titles and a season-by-season history on his card.
- NEWRatings change with performance. A big season lifts a player, a poor one drops him, veterans decline and fringe players grow.

PATCH 1.0:Three games, one home
The Chase, the IPL Franchise Manager and The Follow-On used to live on three separate sites with three separate accounts. They are now one place: cricarcade.com.
- NEWOne account across all three games. Your handle, your stats and your leaderboard entries follow you between them.
- NEWA combined leaderboard, plus a per-game board for each of the three.
- BETTEREverything you had already played carried over. Careers, card vaults, Hall of Fame runs and match histories all came across from the old sites.
