Retention pricing fixed, and you can see who improved

Retention prices scaled with your purse while auction prices did not, so on Medium every player cost 23% to 88% more to keep than to buy, and on Easy up to 150% more. Prices are now the same at every difficulty and a genuine star costs less to keep than to re-sign.

The retention table shows each player's rating at the start of the season and now, so you can see who grew and who is starting to fade before deciding who to keep.

The table explains why keeping someone costs a small premium: the auction deals you a random franchise each round, so retention is the only way to choose a specific player.
