T20 FRANCHISE MANAGER
10 August 2026
PATCH 1.1

Careers, retention and the transfer window

Squad Mode used to end with the season and throw the squad away. It now runs season after season, so the players you sign are players you keep.

Detailed Patch Notes

8 items
NEW

Retention: at the end of a season, keep up to 5 players for the next one. Slot prices come off next season's purse, so a strong spine costs you at the auction.

NEW

Careers: your club carries its squad, honours and record across seasons. Every player has a club record: appearances, runs, wickets, titles and a season-by-season history on his card.

NEW

Ratings change with performance. A big season lifts a player, a poor one drops him, veterans decline and fringe players grow.

NEW

A mid-season transfer window opens once, halfway through your fixtures. Swap up to two players with the other franchises and pay or bank the difference.

BETTER

The season runs on a real calendar. Fixtures have dates across roughly eight weeks, with rest days between games.

BETTER

Injuries are layoffs in days rather than a number of matches. How many games a knock costs you now depends on where it falls in the schedule.

NEW

Freshness. Players tire from overs bowled and balls faced and recover with days rested, so a short turnaround is a real selection decision and tired players break down more often.

FIXED

The injury report said a player was available while selection was still blocking him.
