Every XI now has a wicketkeeper when its nation has one to pick, and a keeperless XI is always flagged with its cost before you play.

2 itemsCricket Manager: the selectors' XI, yours and every other nation's, sometimes had no wicketkeeper at all, most often in T20Is. If the selectors' side has no keeper, the best keeper now comes in for the weakest non-bowler.
Cricket Manager: whenever your XI has no wicketkeeper, whatever the reason (none in the squad, he is injured, you left him out), the match screen says so in red and asks you to confirm before Play, Manage or Instant Result. A side without a keeper concedes more extras, puts down more chances behind the stumps, misses its stumpings and fields worse. The squad screen warns when there is no fit keeper. Nothing is ever blocked.
