One Match Screen for Every Game
Every live match, in IPL Dynasty, the T20 World Cup, Cricket Manager, The Follow-On, the ODI modes and IPL solo play, now uses the same screen: the match on the left, your captain's panel on the right, and one scorecard everywhere. You asked for the Test game's side-by-side layout in T20 and IPL; this is it, for all of them.
Detailed Patch Notes
20 itemsA new IPL and T20 home page: Dynasty and World Cup up top, your franchise set up in one card, continue where you left off, other ways to play, and guides.
Side by side: the score, commentary, batters and bowler on the left, your captain's panel on the right, so you never scroll to change the field. On a phone the panel opens from a CAPTAIN button beside the play controls, and the score stays pinned at the top.
A broadcast-style scoreboard: your score, the two batters, the target or the projected total, and the over in progress ball by ball, all in one green panel.
Match outlook: a score worm with the projected finish, your chance of winning, the projected score and wickets in hand. Tests show the win, draw and lose chances instead.
Commentary shows the ball number and a run chip on every ball, with the latest ball highlighted. Scorecard, commentary and match stats are one tap apart in the tabs at the bottom, with the overs progress beside them.
T20 matches: AUTO for batting approach and field, a scouting line on the batters, bowler overs that follow the format, the option not to be asked at every wicket, fifty and hundred lines and an innings divider in the commentary, and the super over shown when a tie goes to one.
ODI matches: the batters at the crease, the current over ball by ball, and the win-probability chart.
One scorecard across every game and every results screen: dismissals, 4s, 6s and strike rates, extras, did not bat, fall of wickets, partnerships, and an analytics tab with run rates by phase, a Manhattan and a worm. Test scorecards add close of play.
Reviews, the third umpire, the toss, who bats next, the innings break and session breaks all use the same pop-ups in every game.
In the T20 World Cup and Cricket Manager, the phone layout now keeps the score and controls in reach, as IPL Dynasty already did.
A T20 match no longer assumes twenty overs and a four-over cap in its display; it reads them from the match.
The required run rate in a T20 chase is now runs per over. It was showing runs per ball, an over out of date (0.68 where 63 off 96 balls is 3.94 an over).
The projected score in T20 now plays out the rest of the innings with the batters you have left, so 90 for 9 after ten overs no longer projects 180. In testing it is about a third closer to the final total than the old run-rate guess.
Who bats next: tap a batter to choose him (he lights up), then SEND IN. The scoreboard no longer shows the batter due in before you have picked.
A new innings break card, a tidier Set the Field (one row of field settings in the captain's panel), and a new Choose Your Nation screen for the T20 World Cup with search, filters and what to expect from each nation.
IPL 1v1 Versus now has its own strip at the top of the IPL page, right under Dynasty and the World Cup.
After a wicket's pop-up the panel could still say START NEXT OVER in the middle of an over, with play stuck behind it. The break now only appears when the over is done.
Opening the scorecard or match stats puts the tabs at the top too, so you can get back to the commentary without scrolling to the bottom.
The match summary card sits beside the result at a sensible size instead of filling the screen.
SKIP TO END and SIM OVER no longer leave a third-umpire pop-up open from a review on the way through.
