Cricket Manager, Redesigned
Cricket Manager has a new look from the first screen to the press room: a command-deck office that fits on one screen, a character studio for your manager, and ready-made managers for every nation in their own shirt.
Detailed Patch Notes
13 itemsCricket Manager: a new office. Everything you need is on one screen: the next fixture, board confidence, rankings, form, fitness, objectives, inbox and fixtures, with every section a page of its own from the rail on the left. The game now follows the site's Dark/Light switch, with a night look and a day look.
Cricket Manager: build your manager in a character studio. Pick male, female or other, then face shape with fine-tune sliders, skin, eyes, brows, expression, 24 hairstyles, beards, eyewear, hats (including a hijab), outfits and extras. Hover any option to try it on, lock what you like and randomise the rest, undo, and see yourself on a matchday card or in the press room.
Cricket Manager: a ready-made manager for all 20 nations, styled for each country and wearing its shirt, and dressed for your background: the old pro in a baggy cap, the analyst in frames with a lanyard, the fitness coach in a headband. Take the job somewhere else and the shirt follows you.
Cricket Manager: national jerseys for all 20 nations, from India's blue and orange to New Zealand's black with a silver fern.
Cricket Manager: the interview can end in a no. The India and Pakistan boards will not appoint each other's nationals, however well the interview goes.
Cricket Manager: managing from the dressing room now has a live scoreboard with the chase equation, your calls in one column and the match in the other.
Cricket Manager: redesigned boardroom interview, contract, squads, media desk (newspaper, blog and social posts) and press room, and the press now refers to you as he, she or they.
Cricket Manager: press-conference answers now match the question asked, the end-of-series press conference no longer overlaps the report, the Squads page scrolls, and the innings-break summary is easier to read.
Cricket Manager: every office page redesigned to read like a game, not a spreadsheet, in day and night themes. Coaches, the chairman, reporters and fans have faces; staff ratings are colour-coded badges; the calendar groups each series with result pills and marks the next match; rankings show flags, medals and rating bars; stats highlight the column you sort by and its leaders; keepsake cards look collectible. Colour means one thing everywhere: green good, red bad, gold notable, orange for things you can act on.
Cricket Manager: no more boxes scrolling inside boxes. The career card on the start screen fits without scrolling, every section page scrolls as one page, the office lists show only whole rows, and match preparation fits on one screen.
Cricket Manager: when a storyline decision is waiting, the main button says so instead of offering to continue, and the decision's choices are clear buttons.
Cricket Manager and the T20 World Cup Career are now in the Games menu, and the homepage has a Cricket Manager card.
Higher or Lower: the leaderboard now shows every player, not just the top 50.
